Awana Safety Measures

We know that everyone has concerns about how to safely care for their child and safety is important when your child is in our care too. We do try to stay in sync with Webster school practices as much as possible. Many of our kids attend school locally and we do not want to undo any precautions they’ve already instated. Some examples include health or weather related closures and wearing of masks. When Webster school is cancelled due to weather or illness, AWANA is also cancelled. When masks are required in the school (age 5 & up), they are required at AWANA, so please make sure your child is wearing a mask when they arrive to AWANA each week.

AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed)

Making disciples of Jesus Christ who love God and serve others

"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the Word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15

AWANA has been raised up by the Lord to provide an evangelistic program for reaching young people. Unashamedly, AWANA is a Bible centered, youth oriented, weekly club program that meets at the church Wednesday nights during the school year from 6:30 pm to 8:00pm.

Below are descriptions of each level/club in our AWANA program:

Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3 - 5 yrs old) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son Jesus and His Word. Children must be 3 years old by Sept 1st of the current AWANA year/season and potty trained to attend.

Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.

T&T (Truth & Training) engages third- through sixth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ's grace.
